Apple Toffee Dip

I made this recipes a while back for a party then came across is again the other day when trying to figure out a menu for a baby shower! I got my friend Julie to whip it up and instead of just the toffee pieces they crushed real heath bars so it had chocolate too and I think it made it a lot better. It was amazing, I could have eaten it with a spoon!

2 8oz cream cheese
3/4 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 pkg heath toffee bits
Mix everything together and serve with apple slices!

  8. Can you clarify the cream cheese amount?
two 8oz pkgs of cream cheese?
is the "2" a typo, should it be one 8oz pkg of cream cheese?

    Thanks

  17. Does the cream cheese need to be softened first? Making this for our thanksgiving party! Can't wait :))

    1. You don't have to but it will help for sure. I use and electric mixer when I make it but softening the cream cheese will help make it more smooth.

  18. Sounds good! Think I might replace one cream cheese for some marshmellow fluff or cool whip for a lighter texture, can't wait to try?

  22. I've been making this for years. I post it on FB every fall, but nobody has ever made it and told me how much they enjoyed it (their loss). Your family named it Crack Dip for a reason. IT IS ADDICTING! And yes, I HAVE eaten it by the spoonful! I think everyone that stumbled upon this recipe should at least try it. You'll be hooked! You don't have to stop at apples. Let your imagination be your guide!
    GREAT POST!!
